'Tread softly, tread bravely'


This baby quilt/wall-hanging is now completed. It was inspired by the WB Yeats Poem, ' He wishes for the cloths of heaven'. It is intended as a quilt to wrap and protect the newborn, cushion the falls of a toddler, protect the growing child on their journey to adulthood and remind them of their parents' unconditional love.

    This piece did get a little outing to the Irish Patchwork Society's stand at the 2010 Knitting & Stitching Show in the RDS, Dublin at the last weekend in October.
